I would love to paint for you!

What can I create for you?

God So Loved John 3:16
It started with a photo of my daughter’s wedding bouquet as our initial inspiration.
When I renovated my bathroom, I ended up with a blank wall that I knew would require something special. I already owned one of Mia’s beautiful paintings, so I contacted her to create a piece of art that would fill up the space. I knew she could crawl inside my mind and create the perfect piece.
Using the picture of my daughter’s wedding bouquet as inspiration , she included elements of it along with pieces from my flower garden. I’m in awe that I get to wake up to this every morning and it’s the last thing I see at night. Thank you my dear friend!! It is perfection!!!
The vine at the bottom left represents the hard days and grief that life has brought. The growth at the top right represents the growth that is and is yet to come. The growth comes from the Living Water that is contained in the vase…along with all of the tears that come with the pain of life. There is a cross hidden in the painting too!
See if you can find it!!

Even the Darkness
“I loved the painting before I even knew what the title of it was, so it has a different meaning to me…beauty is in the eye of the beholder…
What attracted me to the painting was the stark contrast of darknss to light with the gold cross being the dividing line…and it reminds me that Jesus brought us out of the darkness into a beautiful, colorful, vibrant life with him. Before we have the light of Jesus in our life, we don’t realize we’re in the darkness, it doesn’t even seem that dark , because we’ve never been exposed to truth and life…but when we are everything, is more beautiful because we know the Giver of life and love, the Creator of all things.” –Katy W.

Mia Angel

Precious Painting
“After 20 years of ministry at the same local church, I was ready to move into a new ministry. My friend Sandy painted me this amazing piece to commemorate my 20 years. It is a beautiful piece and it speaks so dearly of the seasons I had experienced in ministry. Each season of ministry had been fruitful and rich in its own sweet way. This painting depicted the preciousness of each season and the beautifulness of the work that God had done through the ministry. It is a treasured gift and is displayed in a prominent place in my home to remind me of the incredible ministry God allowed me to do for him over many years.” –Melissa M.

Simplicity
“This painting speaks to me daily in it’s simple beauty and meaning. I found it on the floor of Mia‘s (Sandy) studio and something about it immediately spoke to me. The piece was both haunting and captivating.
When I first saw it, I thought the painting was complete, but we spent the next couple of hours in the studio watching her layer in color and shadowing, giving the painting new depth and dimension. It was an extraordinary experience watching her artistry as she brought this painting, that was stacked in a corner, to life.
I think of this every time I look at this beautiful piece. While it looks “simple” it is comprised of complex layers. For me it is a powerful metaphor for life: that what we see on the surface, that what we often evaluate at first glance, is really a composite of the many layers in our lives and experiences …brushstrokes…that God uses to create His beauty.” — Karen W.

Jenny’s Blooms
“A garden of friends is always in bloom! Which is dear because my dear young Bible study girls commissioned this for me! This gorgeous bouquet greets me every morning reminding me that His mercies are new each and every day!” –Jenny S.
